Press and Media Assistance
Thank you for your interest in Missouri’s capital city – Jefferson City! The Jefferson City Convention and Visitors Bureau would like for you to be our guest. The CVB provides assistance to qualified travel journalists producing editorial coverage of our destination by arranging itineraries and facilitating tours to attractions, museums, cultural venues, restaurants, and other points of interest covered in your story. Depending on the nature of your assignment, we may be able to assist in securing accommodations.
Guidelines:
- Requests are assessed on an individual basis. Travel arrangements are provided through the discretion of the Jefferson City CVB and its partners.
- Please submit your request a minimum of one month prior to your press visit. This allows us to pursue available lodging and plan an itinerary to enhance your visit. However, if you need immediate assist, please do not hesitate to contact us.
- Complimentary arrangements are provided at the discretion of the host businesses and are subject to availability. Peak travel season may require a press rate at lodging accommodations.
- Our primary goal is assisting working press. Accommodating spouses, children and visitors accompanying working press is at the discretion of the Jefferson City CVB partners.
